SAP Basis Support ExpertBASIC FUNCTION OF THE WORK GROUP The group provides support activities for existing SAP installations. This include- monitoring of the systems leveraging CCMS based alerting,- performance tuning via maintenance of buffer pools, configuration of logon groups, and work process distribution- problem analysis & solving,- analysis of Early Watch Alerts,- performance of system copies, etcSystems supported range from several hundred users to large scale R/3 with 11.000 active users in a single instance / clientNote: this is not the primary organization for S&C admin; transport admin; DBA support; OS supportSKILL REQUIREMENTS Must speak, read and write English fluentlyExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem solving skillsGood analytical skillsHigh energy and motivationGood team workerAround 3 to 5 years experience in R/3 Basis administration tasks.Preferably having worked in distributed organizations before.Besides good SAP Skills also good Windows and or UNIX know-how.Data Base Skills welcome, especially in DB2 and Oracle.The most competitive candidates would ideally have some of the following experiences:- Prior in-depth experience in technical ABAP4 programming, analysis of SAP source code, performance statistics and dumps- Prior experience with large-scale, global SAP installations- Prior experience with multiple R/3 implementation type
